Giorgio Armani, the legendary fashion designer signed an indenture in 2004 with Emaar Properties Dubai, which states that Armani would build and operate classic hotels & resorts under its own name and oversee the whole interior to provide the visitors a typical Armani experience. One such classic hotel is soon going to fling open its doors for guests (18th March, 2010).
Armani hotel is expected to be an exclusive destiny for citizens and a benchmark for all others looking to enter into the hotel industry. The hotel occupied forecourt to level 8, 38 and 39 of the iconic tower. It is promised that Armani’s style is woven throughout the 160 suites and 144 private residences personally designed by Giorgio Armani. The hotel is presenting 8 superb dinning experiences with culinary excellence, not only Mediterranean style but also varied taste of Italian, Indian and Japanese cuisines.
Armani Hotel will offer ballrooms, spacious outdoor area and pavilion featuring a 30,000 sq ft of conference and banqueting facilities catering up to 350 guests. The hotel will also include Armani Galleria, Chocolates and sweets store, floral shop and spa.
Giorgio Armani Group is one of the leading fashion labels in several sectors in the fashion world today. After its first hotel launch in Dubai, Armani Hotels & Resorts plans to open at least 10 to 15 hotels and resorts within the next ten years. Armani is not just at Burj Dubai, three others are under construction in Milan, Marrakech and Egypt and subsequently in other key destinations such as New York, Shanghai and London.
